Can You Relate to this Funny Video?

I just watched this short clip on Ryan Lee’s website and I had to share this with you. The video is really funny. In fact, I was laughing out loud as I watched the video.

Here’s the thing…

In today’s society, we sometimes forget how fortunate we are and what we have thanks to the technology around us. In this video, I find it funny when he mentions the rotary phone. In fact, when I was little living in Poland, we didn’t even have a phone at my house. When my mom would call me from United States (she was already living here trying to make money for us while I was living with my Aunt and my Uncle back in Poland) she had to call the town’s city hall and make arrangements with them to call back at a later time, say at 3 pm. Then, someone from city hall would come over to our house to tell us about it and we would head over there around 3 pm and wait for her to call back.

That’s how we used a phone

By the way, it was a rotary phone.

So watch this short clip, enjoy it, laugh out loud. Sometimes, we all need to let loose and laugh.

I had to take a picture of this and share this with you. When my wife pointed it out to me in the store, I laughed really hard. It made my day and I figure I share this with you to hopefully make you laugh and make your day.

Question: How do you keep America healthy?

Answer: See the picture! By the way, this is a 100% REAL, untouched photo taken at a big chain store you’ve probably visited at least once this week. I took it with my iPhone and haven’t made any changes to it. Enjoy!

What is The Only Business in The World Where 80% of The Costumers Don’t TRUST & The Business is Still In Business

I don’t normally talk about politics but I had to write about this. Why? Because if this was you or me, we would be out of business LOOOOOONG TIME ago. Let me ask you a simple question:

What business can you run where 80% of your customers don’t trust you and still run that business?

I’ll tell you what business.

The US government!

Better yet, what business can you run where 80% of your customers don’t trust you, you spend money like crazy on stuff that you can’t track it’s results, get into a huge debt because of that, your customers can almost never reach you, and the people who run that business are NOT even a businessmen, they’re politicians?

I’ll tell you what business. The government!

How does this work I ask you?

Even better, what business can you run where 80% of your customers don’t trust you, you spend money like crazy on stuff that you can’t track it’s results, get into a huge debt because of that, your customers can almost never reach you, people who run that business are NOT even a businessmen and here’s the best part, the customer can’t say: “I can’t believe how badly you are running your business. I’m taking my business elsewhere.”

I’ll tell you what business. The government!

Now, I hear that they are putting new laws into place that can seriously make business harder for those investors who run their business doing short sales. Did any of these “policy writers” bother to actually talk to an investor to see if the new rules will help the economy?

What’s your take on this issue? Like I said, I don’t normally get into politics but I couldn’t pass this up. I would love to hear what you think.

Here’s my favorite quote from that article. “”Politics has poisoned the well.”- said Andrew Kohut, director of the nonpartisan center that conducted the survey.

Now,’we’re talking. I strongly believe that the government is a business entity and should be run like one. As of right now, I don’t believe it even comes close to that type of a system. When your end customer, in this instance, the American public doesn’t trust you, wouldn’t you make a big overhaul to change things? Change the way the business is run, talk to the end user, the American public, ask them what they don’t like, ask them what they want to see happen, what they want, what they need and stop doing things you THINK are going to help.

Looking back at 2009, I cannot believe how fast that year went and how much I have accomplished during that year in my life. But that’s not what this post is about today. Today’s post is ALL ABOUT YOU. That’s right.

I want YOU to have the best year ever and I want you to go ALL OUT.
I want you to take 2010 by the horns and lead it to where you want it to go.
I want you to go the distance and let nothing, and I mean nothing get in a way.
I want you to get laser focused and let nothing and I mean nothing get you distracted from what you want to accomplish this year.
I want you to be motivated beyond your wildest dreams, so much that accomplishing your goals will be as easy as writing them.
I want you to be everything that you can be, and more.
I want you to take yourself to the next level.
I want you to show the world how powerful you are.
I want you to blow your competition out of the water.
I want you to blow yourself out of the water. I know that you have that in you. You just need to realize it.

I know that some people are not big fans on Anthony Robbins. I am because I think this guy is 100% right on why people are not successful. In this short video, Tony talks about focus. Why? Because not being focused is one of the biggest success killers out there.

I think Al Pacino is a one heck of an actor. In this short clip, Pacino gives an speech to his team before a game. How would you like to have a coach like that in your business corner.

Video #4: One of the best speeches I’ve ever heard.

Have you heard of a guy named Steve Jobs? I mean, who is this guy? He never graduated from college, had some out of this planet goals and what happen?

Who knows, maybe you can be the next Steve Jobs.

Happy Mother’s Day! How to Create a Video Your Mom Will Love, Laugh & Cry All At The Same Time

I’m not going to write a big blog post today because I need to round up my 3 kids to help them show my wife how great of a mother she is. In fact, I’ll need to do that same

For all the wonderful mothers we have, I wanted to send a warm and genuine Happy Mother’s Day greeting. I hope that today is a perfect day for you, one where you get exactly what you wish for and do exactly what you want to do.

I am always extremely impressed with the amount of work my wife does on daily basis for our family. If it wasn’t for her, this household would not be in a very good shape Taking care of 3 kids (all under 6 years old) is not an easy task, plus there is me

Therefore, I wish you the best. You Deserve this special day more than anyone else!

Now, for those of you who are still looking to do something for your mom, I have something that will make her laugh and cry all at the same time (depending on how you put the video together). Don’t worry, it won’t take long, I promise.

Couple of weeks ago, I wrote a blog post about a service that will create videos from pictures. That post was designed to help you market your real estate properties. How To Build A Squeeze Page For Your Real Estate Website

In my last blog post, I spoke about Real Estate Investor Website Design- 5 Critical Questions You Need To Answer-Part 2. I have received some emails about that post and few comments on the blog itself. One of the comments on the blog was asking me about uploading squeeze pages to the website. I know that some people are not very tech savvy so I decided to write a post here on the different tools you can use and how to upload your own squeeze page on your website to start building your own list.

So let’s get going here. Before you can upload your own squeeze page on the internet, you have to create it on your computer or outsource it to someone to do it for you. Here are the steps you’ll need to take to design and upload your own real estate squeeze page on your real estate website.

Step 1- Use a WYSIWYG Software

Some of the tools you can use to design your own squeeze page, and even the entire website are as follows:

Free Website Design Software Programs

Kompozer.net I’ve recommended this software before. Actually, this software is inside my RealEstateBlackBook. It’s a great software to use if you don’t want or can’t spend any money.

NVU This is another great software that you can use. It’s fairly easy to use so check it out and see which software you would prefer better.

Paid Website Design Software Programs

Dreamweaver This is a paid program but it is one of the best WYSIWYG programs out there. Actually, I prefer this program over Microsoft Frontpage. I’ve used this many times. It’s fairly easy to use after you play around with it for a while. You can also find ton of tutorials on the internet on how to use Dreamweaver.

Frontpage Another really good but paid WYSIWYG program. I’ve used it in the past but prefer Dreamweaver over it. I’ve got enough Microsoft products on my computer don’t you?

So there you go. Look through the above programs and pick one out. I believe that Dreamweaver has a 30 day trial version that you can check out. If you have any other questions, drop me a line in the comments below and I’ll answer it for you.

Step 2- Designing Your Real Estate Lead Generation Squeeze Page

Now that you have a WYSIWYG program installed on your computer, you need to start designing your squeeze page. For that, read over my past blog posts on squeeze page tactics including To squeeze or not to squeeze? That is the question… Part 1 and You need to Squeeze your Real Estate Investing Leads…Part 2.

Those 2 blog posts should give you a good idea on how to design a winning squeeze pages. There is a lot more to it when it comes to designing squeeze pages, but that’s outside of the scope on this post.

Step 3- Getting Your Domain Name and Web Hosting in Place

Now that you have created your squeeze page, you’ll need to upload it to your website. If you don’t have a website, you’ll need to get a domain name and a web hosting provider. To purchase a domain name, I would recommend using Namecheap. They are the only company I use. I used to be on Godaddy but I switched for reasons I won’t discuss here. If you would like to know, email me and I’ll personally tell you why I switched.

For web hosting provider, there are thousands of website hosting companies. So to nail down the list to just a few, it can be pretty hard thing to do. Anyways, here are a few choices for you:

For a low end, cheaper but reliable hosting company, I would suggest you check out Hostmonster. You can get some really good hosting for as little as $6/ month there. They give you unlimited hosting space, bandwidth and domain names on your account. It’s worth checking out. If you are just starting out, this might be a good option for you.

For a mid level hosting, I would recommend going with Hostgator. They have several great packages there as well. Personally, I would recommend going with the baby package but it’s entirely up to you to see which package will fit your needs the best.

That should be enough to get you started for a hosting company. But if you need a dedicated server where you’ll be driving ton of traffic to your site, let me know and I’ll give you some ideas of who you can use for your hosting solution.

Your Final Step- Uploading Your Squeeze Page On Your Website

Let’s recap. By now, you should have a squeeze page and a hosting company with a domain name of your choosing. Your next step is to get that squeeze page uploaded to your website. For that, you’ll need an FTP software. FTP stands for file transfer protocol and its a small software that you use to upload or download files from your computer to your website. Here are some choices for you:

My top recommendation is to use the Firefox FTP plugin. It’s 100% free and I use it all the time for my own uploads. Some other choices can include FileZilla, SmartFTP and CuteFTP. While the firefox plugin is completely free, the other 3 ftp software products have paid versions.

Before you can upload your files to your website, you’ll need to setup your FTP account. The easiest thing to do is to contact your website hosting provider and ask them for your FTP information. They should provide them for you with no problems.

Once you get that setup, you are now ready to upload. All you’ll do is drag your squeeze page file from your computer to your website html folder. Once the upload is complete, you can type in the squeeze page address on the internet and it should show up on your computer.
