Can’t afford Dreamweaver or Frontpage? Here’s your answer…

Written on by Peter- REBB Founder

As I promised you in earlier emails, I will be providing you with
some great content, free tools, software and tricks to help you get
your real estate investing site visible.  What good is a website if
there is nobody coming to it, right?  Well, I’m here to help…

Sidenote:
If you are not on my list and would like to be, you can sign up at
http://www.realestateblackbook.com/rebb/index.php where
you can get my Real Estate Black Book for free.  Ok, that’s enough of that…

Anyways, I want to start by giving you free software.

Let me explain…

Majority of you either don’t have a site or have one but without any traffic going to it.

Well, that’s a big problem.  I know that the website design software such as
Dreamweaver (which I highly recommend and use it myself) and Front page
are very expensive.  So, I went on a hunt to find something cheaper.

Actually, I found a WYSIWYG software that is completely free & without
any strings.  By the way, WYSIWYG stands for ‘What you see is what
you get’ meaning that you don’t really have to know how to write code.
The old days where you had to learn HTML are long gone.  You just
create your pages almost the same way as you would write in word document.

So, what is this free software?  Well, it’s called NVU.  It’s an
open source software which means that there is no commercial license
for it and anyone can use it.  you can download it by going to:

http://www.realestateblackbook.com/recommends/nvu

But before you go, I want to tell you about another version that has
just been released.  I guess the developer of the software has
redesigned the software.  The new software is now called ‘Komposer.’
It’s free as well and you can download it at

http://kompozer.sourceforge.net/

So, which one should you go with?  Either one. I would check both
versions and see which one you like better.  My recommendation is to
go with the new version because it has added features.

But, before you download the new version, make sure that you meet
the computer requirments.  So, go ahead, download it and try it out.

So, there’s your free software for today.  In my next post, I will
share with you a link to another free software.  What kind of
software you ask?

Have you ever heard of Photoshop or Corel Draw?

Well, have no fear because Peter is here… (Sorry, I had to throw
that in there :)

Yup, I’ll give you free photo editing software.  You won’t need to
shell out hundreds of $$$’s on Photoshop.

Make sure you watch for my next post.  It will be coming to you
on Sunday.  In the meantime, post your comments here if you want more free stuff.

To your Success,

Peter

Thank you so much for your comments. Keep ‘em coming. Don’t worry, I’ll keep the free stuff coming your way. Just make sure that you are on my list and you added me to your address book.

I have some people email me and tell me that they found my email in their SPAM folder. Because of that, they missed the free gifts I was giving away as part of my survey.

As always, I’m more than happy to help you guys in any way I can.
