Want Walmart to Advertise your Business for FREE?

This post is yet another free marketing tactics that I want to share with you. The program I’m about to reveal to you is still in beta. That means that not many people, ie. real estate investors, know about it. if you hurry, you can get the first movers advantage and start advertising your houses and your real estate investing business on one of the biggest sites on the internet, for FREE!

So, why would you want to advertise on Walmart?

First, according to Comscore.com, Walmart attracts 26 million visitors a month. Now, I don’t think you can get that kind of traffic on the side of the road with a bandit sign, can you? Don’t give me wrong, bandit signs are still good advertising technique but they are a lot of work, you don’t get as much response from them as from other advertising avenues and they take time and money.

Second, think about Walmart. What is Walmart? What kind of customers does Walmart attract? If you think about it, Walmart attracts customers that we, real estate investors, target for some of our houses and our business. So, this is probably a good source of buyers and sellers for your business.

Third, it’s FREE. Now, I don’t know how long they are going to keep it free but for now, you are free to use it as you please.

And fourth, one of their most prominent categories is, you guessed it, Real Estate.

Now before you get all giddy and hop over to the site to post you free listings, I want to give you few warnings and tips. Since this is a beta program, they’ll probably be some bugs involved in the program. Don’t worry, they’ll be nothing there that can destroy your computer or anything like that, unless you start downloading stuff from listings.

Also, I haven’t used that program myself yet since it just came out. I’ll work on it and possibly give you an update in the future. And last but not least, read their Terms of Service, privacy policy, etc. It will get you on the right track, save you from much headache and keep you safe.

Having the first movers advantage is a huge advantage over your competition. If you have not started using the internet for your real estate business yet, you need to start now. In my opinion, Internet is the best marketing media out there. The barrier of entry is low, marketing and advertising costs are low (compared to direct mail pieces you send out and hope to get some response) and the best part is that if you screw up, you don’t loose your shirt. Obviously you need to test, track and work the internet.

So, go out there and market your houses. You can’t loose with free!
