“Your Wait is Almost Over! How To Get Your Real Estate Marketing Audio & Video Converted To Text & Be Search Engine Friendly By Google”

Google Does it again!

This just came out today.  For those of us who use audio and video for real estate marketing, this is a dream come true.  Why?  I’ll tell you in a second.

You see, for years, the only content you could optimize for search engines that S.E. spiders could read is text.  When search engine spiders go out into the internet to index different pages, all they can read is text.

They cannot read images (unless you tag the image with keywords), audio or video.  Since audio and video has no text, search engine spiders cannot search through the content to index it into their search engines.  The only way you can optimize your audio and video is through the use of keywords inside tags.

But, have no Fear because Google is here.

In their attempt to take over the world, we’ll at least the Internet, Google has developed a way to Index audio and video in their database.  For SEO people, this is a dream come true.

But I do have some bad news…

YSince the technology is still in beta, you’ll have to wait a little longer for that dream to materialize on your own website.  Why?  Because for now, Google will only index audio and video related to political content.

So, start running for the office and your audio/video might just get indexed. :)

(Nothing like releasing this technology right before elections, right)

Until they release this new technology to the rest of the world, all you can search is political videos.  How fun!

So how does this work and how can it benefit us? (when it officially launches)

Well, here’s how this will work for us in the future.  Let’s say that your prospect goes on google audio search engine.  He/she types in “save me from foreclosure in Georgia.”  Google will search through the indexed videos and audios for that phrase.  So, if you recorded an audio or video and mentioned the phrase “save me from foreclosure in Georgia,” several times, you might come up in the top searches for that phrase.

And if you recorded your audio/video right, (mentioning your name/website, watermarked your video with your website name and a call to action) you might just get a new lead.  Possibly a new deal.  SWEET!

So, until they release the technology into the world, you might have to sit on your hands for a while.  But for now, I just wanted you to be aware of this new technology because it is ground breaking.  When they officially release it, I’ll make sure you’ll be notified.

    Wow Peter, you never cease to amaze me, you constantly keep bringing out content filled information and you give it freely. I can tell you know that there are few real estate related blogs I look up to and yours is one of them.

    This tool Google has created is where the tire meets the road. I can just imagine the traffic that will be generated due to accurately indexed content within the audio and video. I am going to study the software (beta version) so I will be well prepared to use it when it comes out.

    On a side note you agreed to my recorded audio interview request and now I am working on editing it. Again you gave content like it was out of style. I am very very impressed.

    I can’t wait to have the audio interview ready for people to check it out.
