Alright, part 2 of 7 Ways to Create Real Estate Content is here. In case you missed the first part of this short series, just head over to “7 Ways To Create Real Estate Content- How to Write Article For Your Real Estate Website In 15 Minutes”- Part 1
Let’s get right to it, shall we?
Real Estate Content Secret #4
Here’s one secret that many people don’t know and utilize. Public domain sites can be a goldmine for anyone on the internet. Why? Because public domain sites are excluded from copyrights. What that means is that you can take the content from public domain and use it in your own business.
How does that apply to real estate investors? The government puts out a lot of information about real estate industry such as information about mortgages, buying homes, selling homes, mortgage fraud prevention, etc. You can take that content and give it to your buyers.
Here are couple of sites you can check out: Wikipedia Public Domain Resources and U.S. Government Search. Word of caution: Whenever you use public domain content, make sure it is public domain and that you abide by the terms within that site and that content.
Real Estate Content Secret #5
Here’s an easy way to create some great content if you are experienced in real estate. Create a podcast. A podcast is a series of digital audio files which are distributed over the Internet. Then, people can use syndication feeds to play back these podcasts on their portable media players and computers. ITunes is one of the biggest players in this market.
How can you record a podcast?
Well, if you have a computer and a microphone, you’re all set. And if you don’t have a microphone, you can pick one up at any electronics store including Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack and Amazon. Hint: When you do buy one, get one that is included in a headset. You’ll get the best quality audio out of the headset microphone. While back, I got one at Radio Shack for about $20. I actually recorded my outsourcing secrets audio using that headset.
What about recording and editing the audio?
You might be asking yourself: How much is that software going to cost me? How about nada, zilch, zero, no dollars.
Yup, one of the best audio editing program is completely free. It’s called Audacity and has editing capabilities that should take care of everything for you when recording your podcast.
What do you do when you’re done with you podcast?
You have couple of choices. You can create your own podcast by uploading the audio to your server or you can signup with podcast syndication feed sites such as ITunes. Then, you’ll be able to upload your mp3 to that site. The second choice will allow for you to spread your word to a bigger audience. Good luck.
Real Estate Content Secret #6
Here’s yet another secret that you use if you don’t want to write your own content. You can interview an expert in his/her area of expertise. By interviewing an expert, you get couple important factors working in your favor. First, you get killer content, from an expert, that you can use in your business to convert visitors to customers.
Second, you end up being an expert yourself by association. By interviewing an expert, your visitors will start seeing you as an expert because they’ll associate you with that expert.
Where do you find an expert?
Here are 3 places you can use to find an expert. First, you can search on Google. Just type in your search term and you’ll be able to find someone on the first page. Second, you can use RTIR Online to find an expert to interview.
And third, you can interview me
If your subject is related to real estate marketing, especially on the internet, you can interview me. I’ll be more than happy to help out my readers. Just send me an email and we can work something out.
Real Estate Content Secret #7
This last one is not so much a secret. You can write the content yourself. Believe me, you know more than you give yourself credit for it. You can combine several of the above secrets to come up with your own content. Don’t copy something someone else wrote. That’s plagiarizing and will get you in trouble. And if you don’t want to write it, speak it into the microphone (see secret #5) and have someone transcribe it for you into text. My outsourcing secrets audio has some tips on that.
So, there you have it, 7 Ways to Create Real Estate Content fast. I hope I gave you enough ideas and strategies to get you writing and driving traffic to your own site using the content.

I will like to take you up on your challenge and interview you on using the internet for real estate marketing. When can we get one done?
Great ideas. I’ve had other podcasters use transcripts as ebooks, email newsletter/content and bonus material for members. And transcripts tend to be very keyword dense, great for SEO. If any one is looking for a transcript I’d be happy to tell them more about my services. Thanks for the great info!
