“How To Read Your Website Visitor’s Mind To Get Them To Do What You Want Them To Do”

After my recent video post on How to Read Your Motivated Seller’s Mind and Leave Your Competition Behind…With Just One Tool, Right Now and For Free, I received many emails from my readers asking me different questions on the discussed topic. One theme that seemed to carry across most of the question was around the following topic. Basically, here’s what you want to know:
“Peter, the tool that you gave us is an amazing addition to my real estate investing resources. It will be extremely helpful for me to find out what my prospects are searching for on the internet. By knowing the most popular searches in my own area, I can get in front of them and direct them right to my site. But how to I read their mind when they are on my site? Is there a way for me to know what the visitors on my site are doing? Where do they click? Where do they go? What do they want?”
Think about it…
Wouldn’t it be great if you could literally watch your website visitors? What if you could see their every click and mouse movement? What if you could see a movie of their visit on your site? What if you could see a heatmap showing you where your visitors click the most? Do you think that would be helpful?
You bet it would!
Why?
Well, when you can see where you visitors click the most, you can redesign your site to position yourself in the best possible way. Majority of the websites on the internet, including the search engines, have the best click rate in the top left corner of their site. That is why the first few spots in the search engines get the highest click through rate. Why do you think that Yahoo has their PPC advertisements on the top of the page? Smart, eh?
Click on the images below to see what I’m talking about. The first image is a screen shot of Yahoo search page and the second image is a screen shot of a Google search page. By the way, notice who’s in the first place for both searches.
So, if you can pretty much spy on your visitors, ethically of course, you can figure out how to increase your conversion rate on your own website. I won’t keep you from the site anymore. I just want to point out that I use it myself, have tested it myself and the statistics that this company provides are amazing. I hope you try them out because you’ll be amazed at what your visitors are doing on your site. Once you sign up, they’ll give you a small piece of code that you’ll have to insert into your pages. It’s not very hard. If you end up having some problems, contact their support or email me.
I also want to point out that they do have 4 different pricing plans. Unless you get about 3,000 to 9,000 page views per month and unless you want to track more than one domain, you can start with their free plan. My suggestion is that you start out with their free plan and then upgrade as necessary. So, here they are…

Now that you know where to go to watch your visitors, I want you to share you comments with me below. Have you used this company before? What do you think about this service? Do you have any questions?
Until Next Time,
Peter K.

Now the idea of what this tool can do is incredible. I am going to test it on my site ASAP.
Another tool that might be useful and I use currently is the “providesupport” tool for chatting live on your site with your clients.
You will get instant notification once someone is on yoursite and it also tells you which page the are on (amongst many other things). If the site user wants to ask questions they can chat with you or you can even initiate the chat with them.
It is a wonderful tool for giving your site users instant access to you.
One thing to keep in mind is for you not to try to sell to them, they must not feel pressured at all, just be there to answer their questions.
I always “Hi, I just want you to know I am online and I am here to answer any and all questions you may have”. This opening works well for me and lets the site user know I am not try to pressure them into anything.
Thanks Owen. Test it out and please let me know your results. Also, thanks for sharing your tip on live support. There are several software programs like that out there, some are even automated where you pre-write your assistant’s messages and the software figures out what it should say to the prospect.
Of course, those kinds of software programs are not as personal and do not allow for one-on-one connection between you and the visitor.
However, you made a very good point here. You do not want to sell to them, you just want to answer any questions they may have. You may want to make a suggestion but that’s all. If you do your job, they’ll want to do business with you.
Thanks,
Peter
